John Louallen Recognizes Constitution Day, Calls for Renewed Commitment to Liberty and Accountability

Pegram, TN – John Louallen, Republican candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 78, issued a statement today in recognition of Constitution Day, commemorating the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787.

“The Constitution is the foundation of our Republic and the safeguard of the freedoms we hold dear,” said Louallen. “It serves as a constant reminder that government exists to serve the people, not the other way around. On this day, we honor the wisdom of our Founding Fathers and recommit ourselves to preserving liberty for future generations.”

Louallen emphasized the importance of upholding the Constitution in state government, pointing to concerns about government growth and overreach.

“Our Constitution was designed to limit the power of government and protect individual rights. Today, we must ensure that elected leaders follow both the letter and spirit of that document. Tennesseans deserve leaders who will be accountable, defend their freedoms, and respect the values enshrined in our founding charter,” Louallen added.

Constitution Day marks the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution in Philadelphia, a document that continues to serve as the supreme law of the land and the cornerstone of American democracy.
