Additionally, I will work to strengthen penalties for violent offenders to ensure justice and safety for our families.

I stand firmly against illegal immigration, believing in the importance of securing our borders and upholding the rule of law.

I'm encouraged to see the Tennessee Highway Patrol joining ICE’s 287(g) Program as part of the effort to address the ongoing illegal immigration crisis in our country. I urge all Tennessee Sheriffs to follow suit and consider becoming participants in this important initiative. At the very least, counties should adopt the Jail Enforcement Model to ensure individuals who are in violation of federal immigration law and already in local custody are properly identified and processed.

I stand with landowners.
Property rights are fundamental, and I believe in limited government intervention when it comes to how individuals use and enjoy their land. Government should protect, not restrict your freedom to steward your property as you see fit.

I support enhanced local oversight of Sober Living facilities.
While recovery resources are important, local communities deserve a stronger voice in decisions that directly impact their neighborhoods. I believe in protecting property rights and safety through balanced, locally guided oversight.

Supporting our veterans is also paramount, as they deserve our utmost respect and resources for their service.

Finally, I am dedicated to promoting quality education, ensuring that our children have access to the resources they need to succeed in a competitive world. Together, we can build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future for the 78th District.
